BNN Selects The First Ever West Oso Student Newspaper Staff

Scott Smithey, Adviser

The Bear Nation News student newspaper has now officially appointed positions on it’s staff.  The first student newspaper in the modern era for West Oso was first published in late October.  Students from the journalism class have worked together to produce stories, photos, and announcements pertaining to West Oso High School.

The BNN newspaper has now named a staff to orchestrate its publishing so students can learn and participate in positions of leadership.  The process has taken close to a month starting with the selection of BNN’s first editor-in-chief, Alaejah Reed, 10.

Along with the advisor, Reed has interviewed and recruited other class members who have been working on the paper.  Page editors were assigned along with writers and photographers.
