Seddiq Sharif checks into a game against Beeville last week. Sharif and the Bears wasted little time disposing of the Trojans in a runaway.

Tuesday, February 2, the West Oso Bears boys basketball dominated play against the Beeville Trojans.  The Bears came out and defeated the Trojans with a final score of 59~35.

Rayshawn Nickles controlled the jump ball to start the game leading to a Seddiq Sheriff layup points.   The Bears really never looked back from that tip-off.  Especially when Brandon Simmons subbed in and was on fire on offense and defense.  Simmons finished the night with 9 points, and 3 assist.  AJ Lopez, the starting point guard, ended off with 10 points and is already looking forward to the next game.

“We play like a team, Friday we will secure a playoff spot!” Lopez said.

The Bears are peaking at the right time heading towards the playoffs.
