Celebrating Cinco De Mayo!

West Oso High School Celebrates Cinco De Mayo. Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration celebrated on May 5. Many people think Cinco De Mayo is Mexico’s independence day, which it’s not. It’s the date of the celebration of the victory of Mexico over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

Join fellow students and teachers in this celebration by dressing in the following on the assigned day!

Lunes- Sombrero Day! Wear your sombrero!

Martes- Mexico Martes! Wear the Mexican flag colors or a mask!

Miercoles- De Colores Day! Wear your Mexican culture attire!

Jueves- Vaquero Jueves! Wear your western attire, western boots!

Viernes- Futbol Viernes! Wear your favorite Soccer Jersey!
